Encore Melaka Theatre comprises blue and white colours of purity and eternity. Upon arriving at the theatre, audiences are welcomed by an organic canopy entrance leading to a blue foyer – the marker of the main façade – covered with porcelain tiles.
The geometric concaved arcs are made out of thousands of fish scale-like LED panels, which reflect light from the ever-changing and vibrant sky of Melaka. The Encore Melaka Theatre embodies the cloud and the sea, movement and serenity. This unconventional design concept represents a journey through time and space, complementing the Encore Melaka performance.
Encore Melaka Theatre has become the icon of Melaka’s skyline, standing tall beside the Straits of Melaka, till forever.
