Born and raised in Melaka, Datuk Wira Boo Kuang Loon, CEO of Yong Tai Berhad has a special affection for Melaka.
Although diverse and inclusive, Melaka offers a peaceful atmosphere welcoming multi-ethnic integration. He is proud of the locals who show respect and tolerance for cultural differences setting Melaka apart from the rest of the states.
Datuk Wira Boo was the mastermind behind the introduction of Encore Melaka to the Southeast Asian market. His ambition is recognised and hence endorsed by the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia as a National Key Economic Area tourism project.

Born in 1953, Dr Wong is the founder member, advisor and former president of the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia. He served as the honorary and academic advisor of respected overseas art academies and calligraphy symposiums. Throughout his career, Dr Wong has been awarded several international prizes. Dr Wong is the first calligrapher whose calligraphy writing was featured in in Malaysia’s stamp collection.
Under Dr. Wong’s strength and intuitive nature of the brush work, our logo “又見马六甲” is written with an uninterrupted flow and rhythm. The direction and pressure he gives the brush produces a variation in the thickness of strokes giving life to the words. These strong and powerful strokes form an expressive reflection of the show never ending. He is a respected veteran Chinese calligrapher.
